But not following any accounts on your business Instagram is not very demure and not very mindful.

Your Instagram is the optimum social platform to engage with your audience and create a sense of community and connection. When I see businesses not following others, it gives off a sense of entitlement – like they’re too good to deal with the common folk.

Why wouldn’t you want to engage with the people and community that pays your bills? Why wouldn’t you want to create loyalty with your customers or clients? Why wouldn’t you want to get to know the people who love what you do?

While they may still respond and connect with their audience in the comments, it gives bad vibes. It’s like the friend you always have to text first in order to get a response.
