How much impact does Boosting/Promoting a Facebook or Instagram post really have? Truth be told, not nearly as much as many would think.

Boosting and Promoting options are very basic and offer less value for money. Your targeting options are limited, you have minimum control over your budget, and you cannot choose your ad objective or customise the appearance of your ads. Basically, you're wasting your money.

On the other hand, if you could spend the same amount of money on an ad you could customise and optimise, wouldn't it be a no-brainer?
