There’s nothing worse than spending time creating epic social media content, only for you to post it and realise you need to delete a photo in your Instagram Carousel.

The good news? You now don’t have to delete the whole post!

Here’s how to delete a picture from your Instagram Carousel without deleting the whole post.

• Step One: Select the carousel you want to delete the photo from and tap the three dots at the top right-hand corner.

• Step Two: Tap ‘Edit’ once the menu appears.

• Step Three: Tap the garbage bin icon at the top left-hand corner of your carousel. This will delete the photo.

• Step Four: If you’re happy with your selection, tap ‘Delete’. You do have thirty days to restore the image if you change your mind.

• Step Five: When you’re finished, tap ‘Done’ to save your changes.

It’s important to note that you can only delete photos from a carousel with three or more images, and you can’t turn the carousel into a traditional post.
